Dymonic 100 Polyurethane Sealant for Green & Damp Concrete (Tremco)

Dymonic 100 from Tremco CPG is a high-performance, high-movement, single-component, medium-modulus, low-VOC, UV-stable, non-sag polyurethane sealant. Its standout feature is the ability to be applied directly to green or damp concrete, dramatically reducing project delays on fresh construction.

With a movement capability of +100 / -50% in field conditions, Dymonic 100 is engineered for moving joints, expansion and control joints, precast concrete panel joints, and perimeter caulking around windows, doors and panels. It is also an excellent fluid-applied flashing material in rough opening perimeters for fenestration, doors and curtain walls.

Packaging & Shelf Life

Available in 300 mL cartridge and 600 mL sausage. Standard colours: Gray, Black, White (other colours on request). Shelf life is 12 months from manufacture in unopened original packaging stored between 5 °C and 43 °C in a clean, dry, protected location.

Coverage

Approximately 25 metres per litre for a 6 x 6 mm joint. Joint width should be 4 times anticipated movement, minimum 6 mm. Use polyethylene backer rod to control depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.

How to Use (Brief)

1. Ensure substrate is sound, clean and free of dust, oil and loose particles. Surface temperature should be 5 °C or above.
2. Install backer rod or bond breaker tape to set sealant depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.
3. Most common substrates need no primer; for porous substrates use Vulkem Primer #191 Low-VOC, for non-porous use TREMprime Non-Porous Primer.
4. Apply Dymonic 100 with conventional caulking equipment, fully filling the joint with the correct width-to-depth ratio.
5. Tool the bead immediately for intimate contact with substrate. Mask the joint with tape for a clean finish.
6. Clean tools and excess sealant with xylene or mineral spirits before cure.
