We sell construction chemicals. Our buyers are engineers, contractors, purchase managers, and site supervisors - people who know what things cost.
So we made a decision: no inflated MRP games. No Rs. 1,200 struck through to Rs. 975 to make a margin look like a discount. The price you see on Technotrade is the price we've worked out is right - fair margin for us, fair value for you.
What this means in practice
The price listed is the selling price. Period.
At checkout, two things are added transparently: GST at the applicable rate (18% for most chemical products), and freight - calculated on actual weight and your PIN code, not padded. If you're buying in bulk for a project site, the B2B price may be lower still. Ask.
If we run a sale or promotion, it's a real one - a genuine time-limited price reduction, not a manufactured comparison.
Why we do this
Because the people buying from us are professionals making procurement decisions. A gimmick that works on a casual consumer doesn't work on a site engineer who's bought waterproofing chemicals for fifteen years. It just erodes trust.
We'd rather earn a repeat order than win a one-time transaction with theatre.
