Thin-Top Supreme Polymer & Microsilica Modified Thin Concrete Overlay (25 kg) - Tremco

Thin-Top Supreme from Tremco CPG is a premium polymer (latex) and microsilica modified cementitious mortar, designed for use as a floor or deck topping at thicknesses of 1.6 mm to 9.5 mm. It is a single-component formulation that uses powder latex technology - no separate liquid bonding agent - to deliver excellent durability under freeze-thaw cycling and significantly reduce the ingress of water and de-icing salts.

Thin-Top Supreme has normal set times in a smooth, trowelable consistency, making it ideal for restoring worn floors, parking decks and walkways where the existing slab needs a thin, hard-wearing protective overlay rather than a deeper structural repair. For repairs and toppings thicker than 9.5 mm, use Tremco Concrete-Top Supreme.

One 25 kg bag yields approximately 0.011 m³ when mixed with 3.5 L of water.

Packaging & Shelf Life

Supplied in 25 kg moisture-resistant bags. Shelf life is 12 months in unopened original packaging stored in a dry place.

How to Use (Brief)

1. Concrete must be sound, free of loose material, dust, paint, oil, efflorescence and contaminants. Mechanically abrade to a CSP 4–6 surface profile (ICRI 310.2).
2. Clean and prime exposed reinforcement with DURALPREP A.C. Prime concrete with DURALPREP A.C. (allow to dry fully) or use a scrub coat of Thin-Top Supreme on a SSD substrate. Place repair before scrub coat dries.
3. Mix 25 kg with 3.0–3.5 L of potable water using a jiffy or paddle mixer. Material temperature 15 °C–32 °C. Mix 3–5 min. Do not add admixtures or sand.
4. Discharge immediately. Spread with trowel, come-along or square shovel and work the material into place. Use screed strips on large areas.
5. Finish: Float or broom. Do not add water during finishing - use Eucobar evaporation retarder. For a hard, flat trowel finish, delay finishing until near final set (~3 hr).
6. Cure: Use a high-solids curing compound such as Super Aqua-Cure VOX or Super Diamond Clear VOX, or cover with polyethylene for at least 3 days. Do not wet cure. Do not use a solvent-based curing compound. Re-establish all floor and slab joints in the overlay.
7. Do not use below 7 °C or above 38 °C. Do not allow repairs to freeze before reaching 7 MPa. Always mix full bags. For repair depths over 9.5 mm use Concrete-Top Supreme instead.
