Concrete-Top Supreme Polymer & Microsilica Modified Concrete Repair Mortar (25 kg) - Tremco

Concrete-Top Supreme from Tremco CPG is a premium latex and microsilica modified cementitious repair mortar, engineered for use as a structural concrete topping or repair at thicknesses of 10 mm to 50 mm (extendable to over 50 mm with 10 mm pea gravel). It is a single-component formulation built on powder latex technology, providing corrosion protection, excellent freeze-thaw durability and a wear-resistant surface that resists water and de-icing salt ingress.

Concrete-Top Supreme is designed for high-traffic horizontal restoration where Thin-Top Supreme is too shallow and where structural-grade compressive strength (62 MPa at 28 days) is required.

Coverage

One 25 kg bag yields approximately 0.012 m³ when mixed with 3 L of water. Extending one bag with 7.5 kg of 10 mm SSD pea gravel yields approximately 0.013 m³ - used for overlay placements deeper than 50 mm.

Packaging & Shelf Life

Supplied in 25 kg moisture-resistant bags. Shelf life is 12 months in unopened original packaging stored in a dry place.

How to Use (Brief)

1. Concrete must be sound, free of loose material, dust, paint, oil, efflorescence and contaminants. Mechanically abrade to a CSP 5–7 surface profile (ICRI 310.2).
2. Clean and prime exposed reinforcement with DURALPREP A.C. Prime concrete with DURALPREP A.C. (allow to dry fully) or use a scrub coat of Concrete-Top Supreme on a SSD substrate. Place repair before scrub coat dries.
3. Mix 25 kg with 2.75–3.5 L of potable water (jiffy mixer or paddle mortar mixer). Material temperature 7 °C–32 °C. Mix 3–5 min. For depths above 50 mm, extend with 7.5 kg of 10 mm SSD pea gravel.
4. Spread with trowel, come-along or square shovel for patching, or use screed strips with vibratory screeding for overlays.
5. Finish: Float, broom or steel trowel. Do not add water during finishing - use Eucobar evaporation retarder. For a hard, flat trowel finish, delay finishing until near final set. Re-establish all floor and slab joints in the overlay.
6. Cure: Use a high-solids curing compound such as Super Aqua-Cure VOX or Super Diamond Clear VOX, or cover with quality plastic sheeting for at least 3 days. Do not use a solvent-based curing compound.
7. Do not use below 7 °C. Do not allow repairs to freeze before reaching 7 MPa. Always mix full bags and follow ACI hot/cold weather concreting practice.
